Liz Walker

FOUNDER & MASSAGE THERAPIST

As the originator of Propago, Liz carries many responsibilities while exclusively providing sports massage for professional athletes. She thrives in uncovering hidden talent with honorable character, and training individuals interested in working with an active clientele. After graduating from Concorde Career College in 2008, she began working in many environments from spas to chiropractic offices, gaining and fine tuning her experiences to open her own practice. She rebranded in 2020 - focusing on athletes of all types while building relationships with Portland’s professional soccer and basketball teams, including various teams throughout the country. She enjoys operating the growth of Propago around quality time with her husband Matt, son Nekoda and daughter Elli - the ultimate purpose for building this legacy.

  • MASSAGE THERAPIST

    Our girl Val came on with Propago in 2019, dedicated and eager for a new adventure in her massage career. She graduated from Altierus Career College in 2018 and broadened her skillset with Propago's sports massage and techniques certification. Over the years, we've had the privilege of witnessing her trade blossom. Blending in sports, deep therapeutic massage, her intuitive method influences a neuromuscular connection between brain and body. She incorporates cupping, Gua Sha/scraping, and muscle activation. Val finds joy in working collaboratively with the client to create a treatment plan and achieve goals. Being in this industry has sparked her interest in returning to school for exercise science and further her education, and we couldn't be more proud! In her leisure time, she grounds with yoga, running and cycling.

  • MASSAGE THERAPIST & YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    With the privilege of becoming a professional ballerina in her lifetime, Sam has decided to remain within the athletic realm taking on yoga and massage therapy skillfully. Moving from State Street Ballet and PDX Contemporary Ballet, she charted a new path in 2017 and became a registered yoga teacher. Finding interest in massage therapy as well, she willfully began classes at East West College of the Healing Arts graduating in 2021. Propago sports massage and techniques certification followed a mentorship meeting with Liz, bringing her on with the team swiftly. She finds passion in helping individuals heal by practicing many different sports massage arts including deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, Gua Sha/scraping, and muscle activation methods. Additionally, she provides restorative yoga for our clientele while showcasing at various studios in Portland. Promoting health through movement and customizing goals, Sam flourishes on devoting time to her clients needs.

    With a competitive background running collegiate track and field, Mik took time to piece together what kept him moving through his journey in athletics. From the athletic trainer to local sports medicine clinics, he developed a strong appreciation for massage therapy. Already having education toward health and exercise science, Mik moved on to graduate from East West College of Healing Arts in 2023. Looking to expand his range in sports massage practices and techniques he was able to connect with Liz which later resulted to integrating with the Propago team. Mik’s vision is focused on helping individuals embody their inner athlete. Exploring a mind-body connection through myofascial release, cupping, Gua Sha/scraping and muscle activation techniques, he also incorporates a variety of stretches through his influence in Thai bodywork. During his free time, Mik enjoys running and exploring with his two pups, Jax and Jango.

  • MASSAGE THERAPIST

    Ms. Noël started her journey in bodywork and yoga with certifications from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego dated back in 2018. Our Maryland native ventured to Moab, Utah where she built and previously owned a sports massage clinic. There, she reveled in working with the outdoor sports community. With her expertise in ergonomic and sports injury repair/prevention, she focuses on body mechanics and nervous system regulation. Noël offers tailored treatments using various modalities such as deep tissue, structural integration, circulatory, myofascial release, Thai, and lymphatic drainage. She is passionate about the holistic benefits of massage therapy. Improving not only the muscular system, but also the nervous, circulatory, and immune systems. Additionally, she is a trained trauma practitioner. Well versed in massage indications for those who suffer with a range of trauma, from stage 4 cancer fighters to hospice patients. As a new resident to Portland, we’re happy to have her spunky, vibrant personality and prowess added to our team!
